২০১৮ থেকে ২০২৪ সালের মধ্যে বিরোধী নেতা ও ছাত্রনেতাদের ৫ শতাধিক ব্যক্তিগত ফোনালাপ অবৈধভাবে রেকর্ড করে কাটছাঁট করে সরকারি মদদপুষ্ট টিভি চ্যানেল ও ফেসবুক পেজে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছিল।
২. নিষেধাজ্ঞা ফাঁকি দিয়ে ইসরায়েলি স্পাইওয়্যার ক্রয়
ইসরায়েলের সাথে কোনো কূটনৈতিক সম্পর্ক না থাকা সত্ত্বেও হারেৎজ ও ইন্টেলিজেন্স অনলাইন-এর অনুসন্ধানে বেরিয়ে এসেছে যে সিঙ্গাপুর, সাইপ্রাস ও সুইজারল্যান্ডের মতো তৃতীয় দেশের মধ্যস্থতায় এনটিএমসি ও র্যাব কোটি কোটি ডলারের ইসরায়েলি নজরদারি সরঞ্জাম কিনেছিল:

২০২৪ সালের জুলাই বিপ্লবে ছাত্র-জনতার আন্দোলন দমনে এনটিএমসি টানা ৫ দিন দেশব্যাপী ইন্টারনেট বন্ধ রেখেছিল। ৫ আগস্ট সরকার পতনের পর দেশত্যাগের চেষ্টাকালে জিয়াউল আহসান গ্রেপ্তার হন এবং বর্তমানে আন্তর্জাতিক অপরাধ ট্রাইব্যুনালে গুম, হত্যা ও রাষ্ট্রীয় নজরদারির দায়ে বিচারাধীন রয়েছেন।
